You can’t skip chapters, that’s not how life works. You have to read every line, meet every chapter. You won’t enjoy all of it. Some chapters will make you cry for weeks. You will read things you don’t want to read, you will have moments when you don’t want the pages to end. But have to keep going. Stories keep the world revolving. Live yours, don’t miss out.

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at school or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.

Build someone up. Put their insecurities to sleep. Remind them they're 
worthy. Tell them they're magical. Be light in a too often dim world.

I always feel happy. You know why? Because I don't expect anything from 
anyone. Expectations always hurt. Life is short. So love your life. 
Be happy. And keep smiling. Just live for yourself and before you 
speak, listen. Before you write, think. Before you spend, earn. Before 
you pray, forgive. Before you hurt, feel. Before you hate, love. Before 
you quit, try. Before you die, live.

Happiness is not a checklist. A dream job, a good home or even love, mean nothing at all if you have not yet found  a way to feel full and content in your own mind and heart.

When your childhood punishments become your adult goals.

You are in control of your life, not anyone else. We all need a break sometimes  in order to recharge and get back to being human, being in nature and with the people we care about. Life is hard, but it doesn’t need to be as hard as we make it. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy and fall on our own swords. We need to spend more time caring for ourselves so we can give more ourselves to others. Focus on your own fulfillment first before being a role model and serving other people. Life may feel short but it’s long and you have time to invest in yourself, take a break and enjoy everyday. Don’t feel guilty that you aren’t responding to any messages on vacation and don’t feel anxious that you won’t able to complete a project. There’s more than enough time to accomplish what you need to even though you think there isn’t. What really matters in life is the relationship you have with yourself and others so make sure those are prioritized above all else.

 

Risking is better than regretting.

Stop chasing after people and being the only one trying to fix everything. It’s mentally and physically exhausting. You have to find peace with whoever comes and goes from your life. Don’t be the only one putting in effort because you will lose yourself trying to save someone else.

A satisfied life is better than a successful life. Because our success is measured by others, but your satisfaction is measured by your own soul, mind, and heart.

What's done is done. Some things in life are irreversible.

Sin is a  slow-acting poison.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to live a long life, but 
dead isn't something we dread.

Death is the exit toll all of us must pay, but it's the entrance
ramp to eternity.

Looking back, most of the important things I’ve ever done in my life

were things that scared me. That includes: talking to people, admitting

that i need help when I feel drowning from everything, and even posting

blog into public for the first time.

We feel that fear is a roadblock, telling us we’re going the wrong way.

But often fear is the compass that’s showing us the way outside our

comfort zone. I don’t live inside your head, but I know there are important

things you’re avoiding because you’re scared, and that’s okay.

Just do yourself a favor and be honest about it,that’s the first step to

moving DESPITE that fear.

We can disguise our fears and avoid them for only so long, but the stress

will build up.  Maybe the first step is simply writing down the things

we’re afraid of. Maybe it’s disappointing our friends and family. Maybe

it’s failing the first time we try. Maybe it’s simply getting embarrassed.

Writing it down and staring is a good first step to figuring out if that fear

is worth holding you back, or if the love is strong enough to pull you forward.
